Strategic Economics was part of an interdisciplinary team of consultants hired to develop transit-oriented design

guidelines for several communities in the Salt Lake City region. These guidelines will serve as a model for other

communities in the area who are currently served by Utah Transit Authority’s existing light rail system as well as

for communities that anticipate new light or commuter rail service in the near future. Strategic Economics

prepared real estate market analyses for two station areas and conducted preliminary financial feasibility analyses

for development prototypes proposed for each area.
